For your first appointment at one of our two convenient locations, expect to be at our offices for about 60-90 minutes. If, after a consultation, one of our highly-trained doctors believes that we can help you, we will perform a full chiropractic exam. Your Chiropractic Journey

We have found that what we do is a bit like building a home: you need a good foundation to build the walls on, sturdy walls to build a solid roof, and so on. Likewise, in chiropractic care, there is a particular order to how best to repair damage fully and prevent future injuries.

Step 1: Relief Care

Overwhelmingly, people come to us because they are in pain. In that case, our first job is to help relieve that pain. Depending on what the underlying causes are and how severe the pain is, you may need care 2-3 times a week for up to 3 months.

One thing to bear in mind is that pain is not a very good indicator of your health. Pain is one of the last symptoms to arise from a chronic problem, and one of the first to disappear after treatment begins: this does not mean that the underlying causes have been corrected.

Step 2: Corrective Care

During these step, your tissues are able to heal more thoroughly, helping to prevent future injuries. At this stage, we are working to address the source of the original symptoms, though the symptoms themselves may be diminished or gone entirely. Adjustments will be less frequent during this phase, and you may begin to do stretches and exercises recommended by your chiropractor to help accelerate the healing process.

Step 3: Wellness Care

After your body has healed, our focus will shift to preventive maintenance. You may come in for adjustments anywhere from 1-4 times per month, depending on your wellness goals and lifestyle. Making chiropractic care a part of your life, just like good diet and exercise regimens, can help you to maintain an active, healthy lifestyle for years to come.
